COUNCILLOR MAZ HUSSAIN
Mayor 2019 - 2021 (Maz served an extra year due to the Covid Pandemic)

Cllr Maz Hussain came to this country in 1992.  He is married with a nine year old son.

 

After attending Brentford School followed by Amersham and Wycombe College he completed a mechanics apprenticeship at Perry Fords in High Wycombe and worked there for seven years.  He runs his own business which was established in 2001.

 

Maz is a councillor for the Disraeli Ward where he won a By-election in 2013 and was re-elected in 2015.

 

Maz works closely with the Wycombe Homeless Connection.  He has ‘slept out’ five years running helping to raise awareness and money for the charity.  He also supports them on a regular basis in the Parish Church on a Tuesday helping in the soup kitchen.
